Echinacea purpurea 'Meringue'

If you're looking for a coneflower to fit in the front of your garden, Echinacea 'Meringue' is the one. Bred for not only it's nice double white flowers, it is also much shorter and compact than other coneflowers. It out blooms all the old coneflowers but does so with vigor if left on the dry side. The stems are strong enough that it doesn't flop but if you want the flowers to continue at the rate they started, you'll need to deadhead
