Echinacea 'Evan Saul' aka 'Sundown'

This brand new selection sports warm russet-orange flowers with a prominent, brownish central cone. Their nice wide petals are slightly reflexed and overlap, giving the blossoms a full, substantial presence. One of our favorite of all the new coneflowers. It is unbelievable fragrant and if you have to choose between the new coneflowers that are similar in color this is the one we would have in our garden. It is about 10 inches taller that 'Sunset' and seems to be more vigorous. Watch the water when its young. Likes well drained soil
